I Am Afraid Of The Dentist

Minimizing Pain Is Our Mission

Does even the thought of the dentist make your blood pressure go up? Have you had a negative experience at another dental office and have written off dental visits altogether?
If so, the doctors at All Smiles dental have solutions that can ease your fears and help you receive the dental care you need and deserve.
Too often we hear from patients whose dental anxiety is not being properly treated or simply not taken seriously. We at All Smiles Dental will listen to you and tailor our care to your individual needs.
Painless and Comfortable dental visits made possible with Sedation Dentistry. To ease your concerns and make your visits more comfortable we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral conscious sedation. These sedation techniques help patients with a mild to severe fear.

Nitrous Oxide, better known as laughing gas, is a great way to get you relaxed for your dental treatments. Nitrous Oxide works almost instantly and wears off quickly, allowing you to drive yourself to and from our office.

Oral Conscious Sedation is a much deeper form of sedation. You take medicine 90 minutes before appointment and you will not remember much of anything. You will not be able to drive to or from the appointment. Usually with oral conscious sedation we book longer appointments to shorten the number of visits.

Those techniques work great but we at All Smiles Dental go above and beyond to make sure our injections are painless. We use the very best topical “Profound” to completely numb the gum. Normal topical is $20 a jar, Profound is $300 a jar. We then use the smallest needle to inject. Our anesthetics are different than most dental offices. Our shot does not burn. We use Citanest Forte first, most anesthetics are acidic and burn, but this anesthetic is pH 7. So it is like injecting water. Once the site is numb we use a combination of lidocaine and septocaine. Some patients numb better with one than another but by using a combination of 3 different anesthetics , they work synergistically to make you thoroughly numb. The key to a happy patient is do not hurt them while making them numb.
